Hollyoaks legend unrecognisable after shaving off iconic moustache for new drama
Hollyoaks star Emmett John Scanlan looked unrecognisable on the set of a new drama as he filmed scenes while dressed in a solider's uniform, surrounded by actors in police outfits.
The Irish actor was on the set of the Harlan Coben series Fool Me Once which also features big stars including Michelle Keegan and Richard Armitage.
Emmett was spotted in costume eating a burger by a food truck while being interviewed by a police detective played by Adeel Akhtar.
The soap actor is best known for playing Brendan Brady in Hollyoaks for three years until he left the Channel 4 soap in 2013.
Brendan was involved in several storylines during his time in the soap including a domestic violence story while in a relationship with Kieron Richardson's character Ste Hay.

The Irish actor joined the Peaky Blinders cast in series five as Billy Grade and reappeared in the show's sixth and final series.
He has also acted in the second season fo BBC Three series In The Flesh, and Guardians of the Galaxy.
Fool Me Once is the latest in a long line of Harlan Coben's books to be adapted into a Netflix series.
The new series joins the seven others that have been put on the small screen including psychological thriller The Stranger, which proved to be a huge hit on the streaming platform.
