Boys aged 12, 16 & 17 arrested as teens found dead in dumpster & submerged car
Police in Florida have arrested three teenage boys after three teens were slaughtered in a series of horrific shootings - and one suspect is shockingly aged just 12-years-old.
Over the course of three days, three teenagers were found dead in and around the quiet village of Ocklawaha, having been shot.
A 16-year-old girl, later identified as Layla Silvernail, was found in a dumpster on March 31, the following morning a boy, who has yet to be named, was found lying by the side of the road, and on Saturday April 1, a second teenage girl was found in Layla Silvernail's submerged car.
Officers from Marion County Sherrif's Office were first called on Thursday March 30 at around 10.52pm to the Forest Lakes Park area on SE 183rd Avenue Road to an injured young woman lying on the side of the road, with reports that she was found in a dumpster. She had suffered a gunshot wound, but was not yet dead.
That young girl was Layla Silvernail, who was described by her softball team as "the definition of a team player" on a GoFundMe page set up to help her family pay for her funeral and memorial. She was taken to hospital, but died as a result of her injuries.

Layla Silvernail, 16, was still alive when she was found (GOFUNDME)The next morning, police were called again at around 7.55am to reports of another person lying injured on the side of the road.
Deputies responded to SE 94th Street and SE 188th Court, just four miles from where Layla was found, where they came across a boy, thought to be 17, lying on the side of the road, dead from a gunshot wound.
Just over 36 hours from Layla being discovered, deputies responded to a tip off and found her car.
It was abandoned and partially submerged in a small pond near Ocklwawaha, in the Malauka Loop and Malauka Loop Trace area just nine miles from where Layla was found.
Camille Quarles was found in the trunk of the car (Facebook)Detectives, including specialist forensic and underwater teams, recovered and searched the vehicle. It was then that they came across a second 16-year-old girl - thought to be Camille Quarles.
Sherrif Billy Woods confirmed in a press conference on April 7 that she was found in the trunk of the car.
He also said he wanted to "clear up" before getting into details, that from interviews and digital evidence from her phone "she was there of her own free will".
After investigation, and tip offs from residents, Marion County detectives named three suspects in the case: Robert Le'Andrew Robinson, 17, Christoper De'l Atkins, 12, and Tahj Brewton, 16.

On Saturday, April 8, Brewton was captured just south of Groveland, Florida and arrested on outstanding warrants for carjacking with a firearm, aggravated assault, grand theft of a motor vehicle, fleeing or attempt to elude a law enforcement officer, and tampering with an electronic monitoring device - not connected to the murders.

In a press conference on April 7, Sherrif Billy Woods said: "The investigators were able to determine that this group of juveniles were involved in committing burglaries and robberies, which they referred to as a 'lick'.
"Now, although we had out there it was gang related, we have nothing specific to say it was any rivalry or anything to such that cause, but however, each and every one of them, in some shape or form, is associated with a gang.

"They fled the scenes but left a lot of evidence in their wake, through the cooperation of the agencies I have previously mentioned, and my office, we were able to begin compiling all of the evidence and finding these killers.
