Tommy Fury claims he's gained 42lb since Jake Paul win as rival returns to camp

Tommy Fury has claimed he piled on around three stone - or 42lb - since his fight with Jake Paul at the end of February in Saudi Arabia.

The Love Island star made millions for his bout with Paul, and established himself as a star in the world of boxing with the bout reportedly selling over 800,000 pay-per-views. He defeated his long-time rival by split decision in the Middle East before jetting back to spend time with his girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague and their newborn daughter Bambi.

After training intensively for the Paul fight throughout the first few weeks of his child's life before jetting off to Saudi Arabia just days after she was born, Fury has taken some time away from the sport since his victory. And in a recent video in which he indulges in strongman Eddie Hall's massive calorie diet, he claimed he has piled on the pounds in recent weeks.

He and Hall can be seen taking on a huge breakfast in the video before going on to boxing training, with Fury joking after making a massive order that he has "put on three stone in four weeks". The Brit actually ordered more than his strongman colleague, who weighs 357lb, with the pair then trading meals.

The Fury family are known to indulge during their time off, with his brother; world heavyweight champion Tyson, also struggling to keep his weight down in his early career. And Tommy has followed suit, often sharing photos of his extensive cheat meals that he enjoys while on date nights with Hague.

He tipped the scales at 184.5lb for his last outing against Paul, meaning that if he's telling the truth to Hall that he would now be 226.5lb. That would make him heavier than any of world champion Oleksandr Usyk's heavyweight outings, as well as Deontay Wilder's last title defence before losing his belt to Tommy's brother Tyson in 2020.

It is believed that when the younger Fury begins campaigning for belts that he will make the cut to light-heavyweight, or 175lb, although he has never come in that light in his professional career. His last bout before facing Paul was cancelled after he was unable to make the limit for a meeting with Paul Bamba in Dubai.

Meanwhile, Jake Paul has returned to his training camp in Puerto Rico as he begins plotting his next moves in the boxing world. He recently had YouTube boxing analyst Wade Plemons visit him at his base, where he is learning the ropes for his touted MMA debut, as well as working towards another fight.

Paul has a contractually obligated rematch with Fury, but appears to have not yet executed that clause. There are also talks underway between Fury's team and KSI, who is Paul's biggest YouTube rival and the most famous social media star in all of the United Kingdom.
