Eton College has an impressive list of former pupils that includes Prime Ministers, foreign dignitaries, members of the Royal Family, Hollywood actors and well-known authors.

Much like Prince William, it is incredibly likely that his sons Prince George and later Prince Louis will follow in his footsteps and attend Eton College at the age of 13.

The pair, along with their sister Princess Charlotte, are currently students at Lambrook School.

The famous school charges a whopping £48,501 a year and was set up by King Henry VI in 1440. It counts other royal alumni such as Prince Harry, Prince William of Gloucester, The Duke of Kent, as well as Sam and Arthur Chatto.

Eton is famous for their incredible facilities as it has anything their students could possibly want.

In terms of sports, there are approximately 40 football/rugby pitches, a 2km rowing lake, 19 cricket pitches and 50 tennis courts.

As well as their vast number of amenities, the college can count several famous actors as old Etonians - many of whom have spoken out about taking part in school productions and the time they spent there.

From Oscar winners to iconic movie supervillains and from Netflix's The Crown actors to comedy stars, there are several to choose from.

Oscar-winner Eddie Redmayne was in the same year as Prince William when they attended Eton between 1995 and 2000 and have been seen catching up over the years at various events.

The actor previously opened up about his time at the famous school with Prince William.

Speaking on a US chat show in 2018, Eddie revealed: "I always felt a bit sorry for him because basically any school you played, all they wanted to do was tackle Prince William and they could say, 'I tackled Prince William.'"

Eddie went on to admit that Prince William being thrown to the floor was kind of good for him - as it made the match "easier". He added: "So if you were standing next to Prince William, like I was, it was actually quite easy and quite fun."
