Tyreek Hill compares Patrick Mahomes and Tua Tagovailoa with bold claim

Patrick Mahomes won his second Super Bowl this past season and continues to prove why he's the best... but Tyreek Hill believes his quarterback is better in certain aspects

Tyreek Hill has boldly doubled down on his claim that Tua Tagovailoa is a more accurate passer than two-time Super Bowl and MVP winner Patrick Mahomes.

It comes after Hill spent the season playing with Tagovailoa, following four years with Mahomes - where the two won a Super Bowl together and had been seen as the most prolific duo in the league.

While a surprising claim, it is not the first time that the wide receiver has made these comments, after also making the claim in last year's pre-season when he first linked up with the Hawaiian.

The comments had also come after a down year for Mahomes in 2021, statistically the worse season in his career to date as some begun asking questions of him.

Still seen as one of the best quarterbacks of all-time though, Mahomes came back with an incredible 2022 season, leading the Chiefs to a Super Bowl championship and winning the regular season MVP award.

That came after the Chiefs traded away Hill, Mahomes' most dangerous weapon at the receiver position, where he would himself go on to have an excellent year with the Dolphins.

But the receiver has somewhat surprisingly once again stated that Mahomes is not as accurate as Tagovailoa.

Currently holding a mini-camp in Miami, local ESPN reporter Marcel Louis-Jacques tweeted: "Tyreek Hill tells campers that Tua is the most accurate quarterback he’s ever played with — not a slight against Patrick Mahomes, who he said is like a brother to him."

It's a claim that many would argue against, with Mahomes having much stronger passing numbers in comparison to Tagovailoa.

The Dolphins quarterback did have the best season of his career to date, but did have a few notable underthrown passes when targeting the speedy Hill, showing that he does not have the arm strength of the Kansas City superstar.

Hill is set to return to his old team this upcoming season to face Kansas City for the first time, where he has already promised to be the team's 'worst enemy' on the day.

He said: "Chiefs Kingdom, when the Miami Dolphins come to Arrowhead Stadium this year, guess what we gonna do? I hate to say it, man. I hate to throw up the peace sign against y'all. I hate to do it! But guess what? I'm gonna be y'all worst enemy that day. I'm gonna be y'all worst enemy that day."
