Denise Welch breaks silence on rumours of feuds between Loose Women co-stars
Loose Women's Denise Welch has denied a feud between the panellists, insisting she hasn't "fallen out with any of them in 20 years".
The former Waterloo Road actress, 64, admitted that she and her co-stars have "very feisty debates", but they remain friends throughout.
The ITV daytime show often sees the regular commentators clash over wide ranging topics, and reports of infighting between the stars have surfaced through the years.
However, Denise is keen to put the rumours to bed. It comes after she hit out at reports of a feud between herself co-star Charlene White over her time with Matt Hancock in the jungle.
In November, Denise appeared to hint on Twitter that she wasn't too happy at seeing Charlene get on with the former health secretary, but she then clarified that she knows "how tricky it is to be that environment".
Adam Thomas says devastating Waterloo Road plot helped him grieve for late dad"I'm not afraid to be passionate and committed about something, we all have different views, we're great friends," she told The Sun.
"I do get upset that people are trying to make out that we're always in some backstage feud."
The former Dancing on Ice star added: "I haven't fallen out with any of them in 20 years - but we have very feisty debates."
Denise's comments come after Kaye Adams said rumours of backstage rows between presenters is exaggerated.
She told the Mirror this month: “We are constantly being asked – have we fallen out, who won’t work with who?” she says.
“It’s tedious and keeps us in this mindset that women can’t get on, women are bitchy. It’s a harmful narrative and it’s not true.”
The debates on Loose Women got so fiery last month that Denise apologised for swearing during a discussion about Prince Harry, who was promoting his explosive memoir Spare at the time.
"I know as someone who suffers from clinical depression - you push everything down and one day, it's going to explode and I feel that he now wants to right some wrongs and this is what he has done," Denise said.
"However, on the other side of things, there will be at least 64 articles on Prince Harry today in the papers, all the while the government is getting away with b***dy murder.
"Oh, excuse me for swearing," Denise added as she covered her mouth.

"Things that we are having to pay for with our tax money - that's what we should be talking about," she added.
During the discussion about a trailer for the Duke of Sussex's interview with Tom Brady, Judi Love and Denise Welch backed Prince Harry, while Frankie Bridge insisted that she was 'sick of the debate' and pitting William and Kate against Harry and his wife, Meghan.
