Team news

Thiago Silva, Cesar Azpilicueta and Armando Broja remained sidelined with long-term injuries. Both Raheem Sterling and Wesley Fofana are doubts, having missed the defeat to Villa on Saturday.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has no fresh injury concerns following the defeat to Manchester City. Both Luis Diaz and Thiago remain in the treatment room, while Naby Keita is a doubt, with Klopp wary of Chelsea's response to Graham Potter's sacking.

He said: "Maybe it's normal when a manager leaves, we have not had a real session between games. We cannot do any intense stuff, so it's more talking. "That is what we'll do but I am sure Chelsea will look to react."
