“Not every Monday can be productive… We’ve been up allll night,” the influencer wrote.

“Tommy was wating at the doors of Tesco when it opened this morning at 6am to get gripe water for her (which by the way is my number one top product for a newborn with trapped wind).” [sic]

Gripe water can be used to help relieve gas in babies by breaking down trapped air bubbles that cause wind when other methods of soothing like massage or tummy time haven't worked.

Gripe water is also often suggested for treating colic in babies, but is not licensed for this use and there is no evidence for its use in treating colic.

The NHS recommends that there are more appropriate ways to manage colic so it does not recommend gripe water.
