Ken Bruce admits he's 'struggling to work his day out' after BBC Radio 2 exit
Ken Bruce has teased that he's "struggling to work [his] day out" amid launching his new radio show.
The radio host, 72, will launch his new show on Greatest Hits Radio later this morning (April 3) following his departure from BBC Radio 2 last month after decades at the station.
His BBC show had aired from 9.30am to midday for more than 30 years. Following his recent departure, his new show on the rival station will air weekdays from 10am to 1pm.
It will feature radio quiz PopMaster - which had been a popular segment of his BBC show - and that will air at the same time from 10.30am to 10.50am each morning.

He teased he isn't looking to introduce "massive great bells and whistles stuff" into the format.

He said: "It's just going to be nice things to keep people engaged, keep people listening, and taking part in the show, it'll just be much the same as it was before just in a different place."
And asked if there are adjustments he has to make since moving to Bauer, he said: "I'm struggling to work my day out.
"I think I'm going to be going to bed an hour later because I just have to squeeze everything into the remaining hours of the day.
"Once I get my body clock, right. I think I'll be all right, but I'm really enjoying having a half-hour extra in bed every morning."

And discussing his departure from the BBC, he told the outlet that he has friends still at the broadcast and himself feels "very, very warm towards" his former employer.
He described it as a "great organisation" but added that it was time for him to leave. Ken said he's looking forward to his future at Bauer's Greatest Hits Radio.
Gary Davies, 65, is temporarily replacing Ken as the host of BBC Radio 2's mid-morning show ahead of Vernon Kay, 48, taking over the slot in the schedule later this year.
Ken Bruce on Greatest Hits Radio airs weekdays from 10am to 1pm.
