Police have said they are no longer treating the death of a woman, whose body was recovered from a Reading marina, as suspicious.

Police were called at around 10.30am on Saturday to reports of a body in the water at Thames & Kennet Marina, Henley Road, Caversham.

The woman, who has not been named, was declared dead at the scene.

A 61-year-old man was initially arrested on suspicion of murder in connection to the woman's death.

However, Thames Valley Police has confirmed that the suspect had since been released with no further action to be taken.
