Emotional EastEnders plot will see Freddie Slater confront teacher about past
Freddie Slater will soon confront the cause of his trauma by seeking closure from one of his old teachers.
The youngster, who is played by Bobby Brazier, has been a shy character since he first arrived in Albert Square.
But in the past few months he has formed a close bond with Bobby Beale.
He will soon open up about a sad secret from his childhood in scenes due to air on BBC One by speaking to Jean Slater, who is played by Gillian Wright.
Freddie finds himself double booked with two dates for the same evening but while Stacey convinces him to go, other family members don't think it's a good idea.

The Slaters watched on as the drama unfolded but Jean upsets Freddie by questioning his intelligence.
It's only at this point that he opens up about a childhood secret that involves a school teacher.

On Thursday night EastEnders aired a huge exit for Emma Harding, leaving Lola Pearce devastated.

Emma didn't seem that excited, despite Lola's fundraiser going really well and later, Emma revealed that her boss was heading to the United States and wanted her to join them too on a new adventure.
Emma left the Square tonight (BBC)Jay was rightly furious as Emma planned to abandon her daughter once more, just moments after Lola told everyone she had just six months to live amid her brain tumour diagnosis. Lola quizzed her mum on why she wanted to leave.
"I'm sorry. I know the timing's not great," Emma said, as Lola seemed angry, telling her mum: "I suppose I should be grateful I spent some time with you, eh? You didn't run off this time. You're actually telling me."
Emma tried to apologise once again, but quickly Lola stepped in and shut her mum down. "I don't need your pity. If anyone needs pity around here, it's you! I might be dying but at least I've lived," she said, leaving Emma in tears.

Earlier this week, the doctor had some bad news for Lola amid her cancer battle.
Lola kept a strong façade but was devastated (BBC)"I'm afraid it's not good news. The MRI has detected the tumour rate is advancing again," she said, as a hopeful Lola suggested more chemotherapy. "We can talk about starting you on some chemotherapy, but I have to stress, this is purely palliative."
As Jay asked how long his wife had left, the pair were told: "Lola I'm very sorry but we're talking six months at best."
She later told her family about what she was told, as she gathered them together.
"I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. I'm sorry, sorry for what I'm about to say, I don't want to. I wasn't going to tell you guys as I thought I'd be protecting you but I can't do it, Jay can't do it," she said before adding: " This brain tumour of mine has got bigger."
Lola's daughter Lexi had fans of the BBC soap sobbing as she rummaged around in her pocket before handing over her secret savings to help pay for her mum to get better, leaving everyone shattered as Lola said she really tried to fight the disease.
