According to Dunelm, the cost per hour is based on the UK: Price Guarantee (October 2022) electricity rate of 34.00 pence per kWh. However it may change depending on energy tariffs, and also varies on which size blanket you opt for.

Cost per hour dependent on wattage:

  • Single: approx. 1p per hour (40 Watts)

  • Double: approx. 2p per hour (70 Watts)

  • King size approx. 3p per hour (90 Watts)

The electric blanket has racked up hundreds of five-star reviews online, with customers calling it ‘cheap and efficient’ and ‘a must-have for winter’.
