New mum Molly-Mae Hague has opened up about her relatable struggles after welcoming her first child back in January.

The former Love Island star, 23, gave birth to daughter Bambi on January 23 with boyfriend Tommy Fury, and since then, she has been sharing the ups and downs of her motherhood journey.

Molly-Mae hasn't shied away from sharing the negative aspects of becoming a first-time mum, having shared her experiences of loneliness, isolation, anxiety, and body image issues.

In her latest update, Molly-Mae broke down as she made her return to her viral YouTube channel as she confessed that she is currently not feeling like herself, adding that she feels as though she has 'lost herself' having put herself second while caring for her newborn baby girl.

However, the new mum later took to her Instagram stories to confess that her shopping day out ended in disaster.

Explaining the situation on her stories, the former Love Island star shared: "Just tried everything on that I got in Zara but nothing fit. The struggle of not knowing what size to buy after you have a baba is real."

It's not the first time that Molly-Mae has got real about her body image struggles.

Back in October, the social media superstar admitted that she was struggling mentally during her pregnancy as she watched her body change.

The Pretty Little Thing creative director candidly spoke about how her growing belly had affected her mentally on her YouTube channel.

At the time, she admitted that while she's never been 'that girl who is excited to put on a bikini' she felt more self conscious due to her weight gain - a nd she said private messages she was sent prior to her announcement didn't help the matter either, despite the comments being intended to praise her.

Molly said at the time that it wasn't the need to hide her bump which was affecting her, but more so the way her body was adapting to the process of growing a child.

"I knew that was going to be the one thing that I struggle with the most out of this whole entire journey," she said.

"Like, even if I was to be sick or to be poorly, or to have issues, I just knew that over everything, mentally a struggle for me would be like, well, it would be a mental struggle but it's a physical thing that's happening that I mentally struggle with - seeing the changes to my body."

"I've always struggled with my body a bit. I've always been quite self conscious about my body. I've never been that girl who is excited to put on a bikini for a holiday. I don't like summer and spring because I don't like wearing revealing clothes."
