Dr Phil analyses woman's 4 'clues' that make her think she's Madeleine McCann
Dr Phil welcomed Julia Wendell to his long-running talk show on Monday and analysed the key factors which make her believe she is missing person Madeleine McCann.
Julia, 21, who also goes by the names of Julia Faustyna or Julia Wandelt, discussed with the veteran presenter why she thinks she is Madeleine.
Madeleine went missing in 2007 at the age of three while on holiday with her family in Portugal.
Detectives have spent millions on the case since trying to get to the bottom of what exactly happened.
Now, speaking on the US chat show, Polish woman Julia has described the four key factors she believes proves her suspicion.
Nicola Bulley's children 'cried their eyes out' after being told 'mummy's lost'Dissecting her claims, which Julia says she first started thinking about last year, Dr Phil looked at four images.
In the first, it had a photo of Madeleine shortly before her disappearance. In it, Dr Phil tells viewers how Madeleine has a defect in her iris.
They placed a photo of Julia over the top to try to show they have the same markings. Julia told him: "It's a little faded now, but yes."
The second comparison shows a potential mark on both faces, with Dr Phil stating it's actually a dimple and not a birth mark that they are looking at.
Julia insisted her image at the age of 17 is one which made her really think about the similarity.
Dr Phil went on to say: "Alright, ok, so you think you look a lot like her at those ages and that you have an iris defect the same as she did."
Julia responded: "Another thing is facial expression. When I laugh, my eyes close a little like on the lower picture on the row of the screen.
"When I laugh, I have some picture from teenage age and [have] the same expression."
Dr Phil continued his questioning and revealed that Julia's mother remains adamant she is her birth mother.
However, Julia claims this might not be the case, seeing her mum "refused" to show her any evidence this is the case, including images from her childhood.
Mum appeared 'completely normal' moments before vanishing while walking dogJulia has said she is currently waiting for ancestry results to prove if she is or isn't the missing girl.
But she claimed she no matter what the result, she doesn't want to stay in contact with her Polish parents.
In a statement released in February, her parents revealed: "For us as a family it is obvious that Julia is our daughter, granddaughters, sister, niece, cousin and step niece.
"Threats to our address from Julia, her lies and manipulations, activity on the internet. The interest won’t forget, and it’s obvious that Julia isn’t Maddie. We are devastated at this current situation."
