Entertainment giant Disney has announced three sequels to popular animated movies but the usual excitement has been overshadowed by fans all saying the same thing about one of them.
Along with Frozen 3 and Zootopia 2, which were reasonably well received, Disney's CEO Bob Iger announced that there would be a Toy Story 5 following the success of the previous four films and spin off Lightyear.
Unfortunately, fans have been less than receptive to the possibility of a fifth Toy Story, with many taking to Twitter to complain about the movie before Disney have even had the chance to confirm a single cast member.

Them toys have been through enough!!" joked one user while others said they could see "potential" for the Frozen and Zootopia universes, they absolutely did not want Toy Story 5.

The original Toy Story was released in 1995, introducing children everywhere to Woody, Buzz Lightyear and all the other memorable and beloved characters. Taking the premise of what if toys came to life, it was an instant hit and has remained popular over the years 28 years since.
Toy Story has grossed over $191 million over its lifetime so it's no surprise that Disney wants to keep releasing the films, especially as most of the sequels have soared past the profits of the original.
The spin off Lightyear, released in 2020, was not so successful, with the film barely breaking even despite generally good critic and viewer reviews. This could explain why fans are so adamantly against this new Toy Story - they are tired of the franchise.
One person tweeted: "Toy Story 5 - but why tho? 3 had the best ending. 4 gave closure for the toys. Just leave this franchise alone."
"Toy Story is tired. Do something else." said another, while a third added: "Listen I love Toy story as much as the next person but do we really need a 5th movie?? Do we really I mean come on they wrapped up everyone's main storylines with a bow twice."
One person tweeted a gif of Mr Krabs from SpongeBob saying "money" in response to the question: "'Disney why would you greenlight Toy Story 5 despite marketing the last one as the final movie?"
To this someone replied: "Greed, is the simple answer. It's a pity nobody is making a concept from scratch that would be something I would respect or even more so pay well earned cash for to see in the movies."
Another said: "We need to normalize stories having endings again instead of studios running them into the ground for profit."
Some fans did express excitement for the film but Zootopia 2 proved to be the one most people were looking forward too.
Revisiting old franchises seems to be a key part of Disney's strategy - with some more successful than others. Strange World, was a box office flop and made $73 million worldwide. This could be partly chalked up to a total lack of advertising for the film which went straight to Disney+ rather than having a theatrical release - as critics were generally positive about the movie.

Despite fan reaction it appears Disney will be going ahead with Toy Story 5, although it is unknown which toys the film will follow as Woody was given a big farewell in the fourth movie.
Underneath the glamourous film announcements, Disney has also announced that they will be laying off 7,000 employees. This is thought to be in response to decline of the streaming boom and a major revamp and cost cutting exercise put forward by Bob Igor.
Greg Baldwin, who voiced Uncle Iroh in popular Nickelodeon show Avatar: The Last Airbender said: "Those 7000 employees need jobs more than the world needs Toy Story 5."
