'Tory sleaze is back in fashion - ban MPs from cashing in on second jobs'
Some people say that if you want really good people in Parliament, you need to pay them more than £84,000 a year and let them do highly-remunerated work on the side.
But we do that already, and what we've got is Kwasi Kwarteng, whose mathematical abilities would see him kicked off the tills at Lidl.
We've got Matt Hancock, whose personal charm is such that he's only popular when in a hole filled with spiders in a jungle.
And we've got Sir Graham Brady, whose skills as a political genius involve backing Brexit, opposing gay marriage, and voting for Michael Howard as Tory leader. These three were exposed in a sting into second jobs, hawking themselves for up to £10,000 a day and offering to take time off the less-well paid job working for people they seem to resent.
