We saw grinding on rails, riding a hot air balloon, diving from high in the air and a bit more, but the environment looked very similar to The Breath of the Wild!

The Nintendo Direct can be viewed on Nintendo’s YouTube and Twitch channels.

Nintendo tends to start streaming the direct logo around 30 minutes before a presentation is set to start, so if the feed isn't live, it might be worth a refresh. We'll embed the YouTube live stream below so that you can hit play and get watching straight away.

Nintendo Direct February 2023 – The Legend of Zelda: Tears of a Kingdom

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is set to be released on May 12, 2023, so there's a pretty strong chance that it will have some presence in tonight's Nintendo Direct presentation.

According to rumours, Tears of the Kingdom is rumoured to be the last major release for the current iteration of the Nintendo Switch console. So big things are expected. We're excited to see how it plans to differentiate itself from the incredible The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the previous Zelda release.

The first trailer for Tears of the Kingdom was released during Nintendo’s E3 2019 presentation; since then we've seen a grand total of four minutes and 42 seconds of the game in the four years since the game’s reveal, so it's about time we get something substantial!
