Logan Paul will force brother Jake to change name if he loses Tommy Fury rematch

Logan Paul has told brother Jake that he must change his surname if he loses his next boxing fight.

YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake suffered his first professional defeat when he was outpointed by bitter rival Tommy Fury in their grudge fight last month. Logan questioned whether Fury did enough to earn the win in the fight, criticising the Love Island star for celebrating like he "won the World Cup " after beating his brother.

Logan has now piled on the pressure for Jake's next fight - which is expected to be a rematch with Fury - by suggesting he should change his surname if he loses, as he told their dad Greg during WWE Raw: “I say, if he loses his next fight, he changes his last name. We can’t have another Paul losing a fight." Greg was keen on the idea as he agreed by replying to Logan: “He’s got to win the fight."

Jake is no stranger to a name change bet as he challenged Fury to change his surname to 'Tommy Mae', a mocking reference to Fury's partner Molly Mae Hague, if he lost their grudge fight. Fury had no time for Paul's pre-fight challenge as he criticised his rival for suggesting the name change bet.

"I just want to say, you're talking to a professional athlete here," Fury told Mirror Fighting. "All them bulls*** questions, all that s*** about changing your name; I'm here for a fight. There's no 'name changes', no nothing. All that YouTuber s*** and bets he's made in the past, they're all idiots, YouTubers, not serious fighters. I'm a serious fighter and I only do fighting. I don't do name changes."

Paul now boasts a professional record of 6-1 and he is hoping to avenge his loss to Fury later this year. 'The Problem Child' insisted his defeat made him recognise the unimportance of his unbeaten boxing record, stating on Impaulsive : "This is a gift from universe in terms of life and personal growth as a human being, then this is a win. I want to be happy, love myself and have eternal confidence regardless of any situation.

"This put me so many steps closer to that because I thought my identity, was so close to winning and being undefeated. Being some bada** tough person who never loses that makes all of this money, but after I lost I realised none of that makes me awesome. My identity is just who I am and that's all I need to be and that's good enough for me."
