Ronan Keating breaks silence on Love Island son Jack's surprise baby news
Ronan Keating has shared the sweet name his newborn granddaughter will call him after Jack secretly welcomed his first child.
The musician became a grandad for the first time earlier this month when his Love Island star son left fans completely speechless after dropping the bombshell baby news.
Jack, 24, appeared as a Casa Amor bombshell in the 2022 summer series of the ITV2 dating programme and had hoped to find love but was dumped from the villa on Day 31 – just five days after entering.
Now Ronan, 46, has opened up about life as a grandfather and explained what he wants the little tot to call him when she is able to speak.
The Rollercoaster hitmaker joined pal Jermaine Jenas on The One Show, with the former Tottenham ace saying: "Well said grandad."

But reflecting on his new nickname, Jermaine explained that Ronan will not be called Grandad before explaining his name will be: "Uh, pops, we'll go with that, perfect."
Jack took to Instagram to share that he had secretly become a dad as he posted an adorable black and white snap of him and his daughter.
The former islander wrote in the caption: "Welcome to the world my little [princess emoji]". He didn't share the name of the newborn in the post.
But while the identity of her mother was not initially disclosed, Jack welcomed his daughter with stunning artist Keely Iqbal.
The new mum describes herself as "Mummy. Artist. Sneakerhead," on her Instagram page continually sharing updates throughout her pregnancy while Jack opted for radio silence.
At the time of the announcement, Jack's famous dad commented: "Little cutie."
While his mum, Yvonne penned: "I miss her so much already," alongside a string of heart emojis.
However, many began speculating suggesting that his baby was conceived before he jetted off to Majorca on a mission to find love.
One follower typed: " I know I'm bad at maths, but the math ain't mathing on this at all!!! Love Island isn't even 9 months ago yet. I mean I know accidents happen but…"

However, one praised Jack for making the decision to enter the show, explaining that "babies are expensive".
