Neighbours star spills on racy new job as career takes very different direction
Former Neighbours star Caitlin Stasey has spilled on her unexpected career move from acting to adult entertainment.
She has discussed her decision to quit showbiz to direct pornography - and says things can often get very "intense".
The actress, who played Rachel Kinksi on the Aussie soap for four years until 2009, shocked fans when she announced he new racy role back in 2021.
The 32-year-old is also the writer at the female-owned pornography studio Afterglow and says she has no regrets.
Speaking on the I've Got News for You podcast, the former soap star shed some light on what it's like working in that industry - and told how she came up with a big idea.

She was in the show until 2009 - and in the years ahead did some very different things (Grundy TV)"The content is pretty intense, but it runs just like any other film set,' she explained.
"The sets tend to be really inclusive. There's a lot of women. In fact, I think there are more female directors in pornography than there are in mainstream film and television."
The Australian added: "As an actor, your job is to come in... You have control over such a small portion of this massive enterprise.
"And when you're the director, you are judge, jury and executioner."
The Smile star also outlined what inspired her to write and direct her 2021 lesbian porn film.

But she admits her new job can get rather intense (Fremantle Media)Eau de P***y, which she released nine months after announcing her new career, is something the Reign actress is proud of.
She said: "It's as if they're written by an algorithm on another planet.
"But they're always so sexy and it always feels like sex is about to happen - everyone's sniffing each other's necks and licking each other's wrists.
"So I kind of came up with the concept of a a perfume commercial that then becomes a lesbian threesome."
Despite soaring to fame with her role in Neighbours, Caitlin's breakthrough role came when she was cast a Francesca 'Frankie Thomas' in children's TV series, The Sleepover Club in 2003

Her first major film role came in 2010's Tomorrow, When the War Began in which she played the titular role of Ellie Linton.
