The charity fundraiser - hosted at Salford's MediaCity on BBC One - saw presenters David Tennant, AJ Odudu, Joel Dommett, Paddy McGuinness and Zoe Ball helm the event.

But some viewers weren't happy with one scene showing David, 51, performing Eye of the Tiger in a tight fitting leather outfit.

One Twitter user wrote: “When David Walliams finishes his audition we should all whisper obscenities about him to each other”.

Walliams quit Britain's Got Talent after 10 years last year.

The BGT judge, 51, was forced to apologise after comments he made about contestants on the ITV show were leaked.

A leaked transcript from the ITV show saw that David made crude references about one woman and called a pensioner a 'c***' during filming for Britain's Got Talent back in 2020.

David - who has been a judge on BGT since 2012 - apologised for making 'disrespectful comments', which were made during breaks for filming the show.

He apologised at the time, saying: “I would like to apologise to the people I made disrespectful comments about during breaks in filming for Britain’s Got Talent in 2020. These were private conversations and – like most conversations with friends – were never intended to be shared. Nevertheless, I am sorry.”

Co-host Alesha Dixon paid tribute to former colleague David following his departure from Britain's Got Talent.
