EastEnders star teases split for Lola and Jay after heartbreaking betrayal
EastEnders couple Lola Pearce and Jay Brown are set to be torn apart as Emma continues to meddle in her daughter's life.
Lola (Danielle Harold) has enjoyed getting to know her long lost mum Emma Harding (Patsy Kensit) but their relationship will come at the expense of marriage in upcoming scenes.
Speaking on The One Show, EastEnders star Patsy revealed Emma's plan to "drive a wedge" between Lola and Jay Brown ( Jamie Borthwick ).
She said: "We're finding out that Emma is quite controlling and a bit of a trouble maker. She wants to come between Lola and Jay and cause trouble. She sees something that she doesn't quite like looking at and she makes it bigger than it is and she drives a wedge between them and it all unfolds."
Patsy Kensit spoke about the storyline on The One Show (BBC)"When we saw her before she was quite broken from her past and finding her daughter again but now she's back she's feisty and I've got to play some great scenes," she continued.

The actress opened up on her time on the soap and revealed she had previously auditioned for a role but was left "gutted" when she didn't get it.
Reflecting on her EastEnders role, she added: "I had a great time and I miss them all. I'm so proud to have been on the show because it's a dream of mine."
Meanwhile, in next week's episodes, Jay gives Lola's mum Emma an ultimatum after she popped back into his wife's life despite Lola insisting she needs space.
Emma wants to get to know her long lost daughter Lola (BBC/Jack Barnes/Kieron McCarron)Lexi plans out Mother's Day with mum Lola but an uninvited Emma shows up, resulting in Lexi eventually losing her temper over having to share her mum.
Emma realises she's in the wrong and offers to leave but Lola suggests she gives her some time to talk Lexi round.
Later, the long lost mum walks out when an uncomfortable topic is brought up leaving Lola fearing that her mum will abandon her all over again.
Concerned about the impact on Lola's health, Jay privately tells Emma that she has to make a choice - either stick around or leave and never return again.
Emma will come between Lola and Jay (BBC)Patsy recently filmed her final scenes as Emma and took to Instagram to thank her co-stars.
Sharing a picture of herself and her family getting ready to go on holiday, she wrote: "Cannot thank my amazing cast members at the simply awesome experience I’ve had working on @bbceastenders for being so kind and loving to me.
