Andrew 'engaged in extreme and outrageous conduct with accuser', lawyers claim
The lawyer of Prince Andrew's sex attack accuser claims he engaged in "extreme and outrageous conduct with his alleged victim".
One of Virginia Giuffre's legal representatives said the Duke of York's actions towards her client were "continuous and severe" during a hearing yesterday in New York.
The trafficking victim of late paedophile Jeffrey Epstein was 17 when the three alleged encounters with the now 63-year-old royal are said to have taken place.
Ms Giuffre's lawyer Sigrid McCawley is representing an unnamed woman - referred to as 'Jane Doe' - in the ongoing separate lawsuit against JP Morgan and Deutsche Bank.
The finance giants are accused of facilitating Epstein's sex trafficking activities in exchange for him bringing them wealthy customers.

However, this was not an admission of his guilt and he has always denied any wrongdoing.
During the 90-minute hearing in Manhattan, Andrew's settlement was mentioned four times, reports the Daily Mail.

Epstein with Ghislaine Maxwell who was also jailed for involvement in the trafficking ring (PA)Ms McCawley said Deutsche Bank was "incentivised" to keep Epstein "happy" so he would benefit its business activities, and that red flags were ignored.
The lawyer said there was a parallel in how the bank and Andrew engaged in "continuous, extreme and outrageous conduct" and that in the latter's case it was "continuous, severe conduct".
Deutsche Bank's legal team attempted to argue that an agreement signed by Doe and Epstein's estate for compensation in September last year meant her allegations should be dismissed.

JP Morgan is now suing former CEO Jes Staley, arguing he should be personally liable for any compensation paid to Doe, as well more than $80m (£67m) it paid to him.
It comes as Andrew is understood to be keen to rebuild his shattered reputation and move back towards the inner circle of the Royal Family.
He is said, meanwhile, to be “bewildered” by King Charles’ refusal to share out the wealth left to him by the Queen with the rest of the Firm.

Now palace sources say the disgraced Duke is unhappy his brother has so far hogged the fortune, meaning neither he nor the Queen’s other kids have received any cash.
The Mirror has contacted legal representatives for Andrew for comment in relation to the court hearing.
