Mark Wright's holiday home chaos as he sacks builders & finishes job himself
Mark Wright's dream to move into a stunning holiday home in Majorca is in chaos after he revealed he's sacked the builders and had to finish the job himself.
The TOWIE star, 36, bought the palatial pad on the sun-soaked island last year and was hoping it would be completely refurbished.
But things haven't gone to plan and now Mark has hot-footed it to the island - with his own team of workmen.
Mark said he's had to leave wife Michelle Keegan back home - at the £3million Essex 'dream house' they recently moved into after years of building work - and is now driving to Majorca with a car full of tools.
Describing the "nightmare" experience, he said: "I bought an apartment just over a year ago, and left it in the hands of some builders that I didn’t know, it wasn’t that I wasn’t happy with the look, there was just lots of problems that were created, they tried to cut corners.

"So then I spoke to another company and the price wasn’t matching up with what I had in mind, and I just thought, DIY, got to sort it myself. So I’ve flown all my builders over and drove all their tools over."

The reality TV star has shared a video on Instagram of himself and his pals driving to Majorca along with snaps of tasty tapas and beers.
The group took the ferry before arriving in Spain where work on the holiday home can begin in earnest.

"As they say, if you want it done Wright, then DIY!"
Explaining what needed to be done to the villa, the TV star told Amanda and Jamie Theakston it wasn't simply a case of 'finishing off' what the previous builders had done.

Mark's pals got to work (wrighty_/Instagram)"Not even finish it off, strip what they’ve done, because it’s like just bad, and do it myself. At the moment it’s me Jonny Boy and some of his men, and they have to fly out one or two of his men in the week," he said.
When asked what wife Michelle Keegan's input was, Mark joked: "She sends me a text every now and again saying 'are you there yet?'

Michelle is currently in the UK in the couple's new mega mansion in Essex, which is said to be worth a cool £3m.
