Dad leaves angry note in daughter's lunchbox after teacher slams food choice

A livid dad has got so fed up with his daughter's school's comments about her packed lunch that he took drastic measures to solve the issue.

According to fuming dad Ross Hunt, the dinner lady kept insisting that his young daughter eat her sandwich and carrot snacks before tucking into her treats, and he felt she'd crossed a line..

To his frustration, these complaints from staff were even putting the youngster off taking her lunch to school altogether. Eventually, enough was enough, and Ross decided to let staff know exactly where he stood on this, by leaving a savage note in his little girl's lunchbox.

Taking to TikTok, where he goes by the username @teddyevascents, furious Ross explained: "Right, let me show you this real quick - we've done this for my daughter's lunchbox.

"Basically, the kids at school have been getting s*** off one of the dinner ladies for eating 'unhealthy' food."

He continued: "It's f****** irritating and it's put her off taking her lunch with her. It's alright if you eat the chocolate cake the school gives you, but if you put one in their lunch box, they go 'Oh no, you shouldn't have that'."

Ross then went on the reveal the note he'd left in the lunchbox, which read: "Welcome to my lunchbox! We are aware of the contents of this box and are happy for [name] to eat whatever she wants."

Continuing his frustration, Ross says in the video: "Stop telling kids what they should and shouldn't eat and let the f****** parents decide."

In a follow-up video, Ross revealed that she had come home hungry one day after not eating her Rainbow Drops sweets, and claims this was because the dinner lady in question had told her to finish her carrots first.

A number of followers understood where Ross was coming from, with one person commenting: "I work in a school and have this argument often. I would rather a child ate and was full than lots of 'healthy' foods they won't eat."

Another wrote: "Worked in a school which served cake but we had to confiscate a penguin bar from a kids lunchbox as it's not allowed. It's silly to be honest."
