With the set menu, you get the choice of an orange and melon salad, king prawn cocktail or soup of the day for your starter.

For your main, you get to pick Toby Carvery's famous roast, a mushroom and al pie or a broccoli and brie parcel and the dessert offers a range of sweet treats to tickle your fancy.

Although unconventional the idea of having your wedding reception at Toby Carvery may be a viable option for couples struggling to afford their big day.

Compare Wedding Insurance took data from more than 5,000 wedding insurance policies and discovered the average cost back in 2012 was £11,441.

That is projected to rise to £24,109 in 2023 which is up 11% from £21,725 just a year before.
