Under-fire BBC boss owns £50m mansion in one of UK's poshest postcodes
Under-fire BBC chairman Richard Sharp owns a £50million mansion in one of Britain’s most expensive streets.
He bought it for £10m in 2001 before a revamp including a super-basement with a pool.
Following his divorce, Sharp used the home to throw lavish parties organised by Gabriella Reljanovic.
He was Rishi Sunak’s boss at Goldman Sachs and donates his £160,000 BBC salary to charity.
Sharp bought the seven-bedroom mansion in London from a member of the Rothschild family.

He and his ex-banker wife Victoria Hull applied for planning permission to virtually demolish the building and enlarge it.
On the ground floor there is a big dining area as well as an entertaining room, kitchen and a south-facing terrace.

Upstairs, Sharp has his study, and a master bedroom with an en-suite. There is also a music studio and sun-bathing deck.
High society parties organised by Reljanovic and which he attended included Prince Harry’s ex Chelsea Davy, bankers, models, scantily clad dancers and burlesque hostesses. A guest said: “It’s a party paradise.”

Sharp is also the beneficial owner of his mum’s £4m flat in London, held through a Jersey trust.
A spokesman said: “Mr Sharp has always been meticulous about always paying the full amount of tax here.”
