Loose Women star Frankie Bridge was left mortified on Friday afternoon as she was caught red-handed by producers having got her husband Wayne’s birthday wrong.

The 34-year-old singer-turned-TV star – who shares sons Parker, nine, and seven-year-old Carter, with 42-year-old husband Wayne Bridge – was on the Loose Women panel as the week drew to a close.

Frankie was joined by Jane Moore, Nadia Swahala and Linda Robson as they discussed how much they live by their star signs.

The former Saturdays singer explained why she didn’t put much stead in star signs, before she tried to recall what astrological sign her former footballer husband is.

She told the panel: “I’ve never sat and wondered what star signs they are.”

When she was then asked what star sign Wayne was she asked: “Is he a Leo?”

Laughing, Linda replied: “Why are you asking us? You’re supposed to know.”

She then tried to tell them his birthday as she said: “8th of… No it’s not the 8th. 4th of August? I walked into that myself didn’t I? Anyway, let's get out that hole.”

As the live audience laughed, Frankie admitted: “You see how much I don't really take much notice of it.”

As the conversation continued, Nadia later interrupted Frankie as she put a finger to her earpiece for a message from the producers and said: “Oh hang on. Oh dear. 5 of August. Sorry.”

Frankie looked instantly mortified, as Nadia added: “He’s still a Leo, but let's just come out with the truth, it’s the 5th of August.”

A defensive Frankie replied: “ It was a momentarily blip, okay. I did the same, you know when you have to go and do your marriage thing to be allowed to get married and they asked for his birthday and I gave her three options.

“I just briefly forgot.” Cringing, she added: “His mum always watches this as well.”

It comes after Frankie opened up about rumoured feuds raging behind the scenes of Loose Women and shared her concern that she would clash with her co-stars.

Frankie has appeared on Loose Women since 2010 – becoming a full-time member of the rotating list of panellists on the show in 2021 – and says she’s never witnessed such fall outs herself.

The mum-of-two told Fabulous magazine: “My friends asked me about [the rumoured rows].

“I genuinely don’t experience it or see it. When I first went on the show, I was nervous because I’ve read about all these feuds.

"I think it’s sad that this doesn’t happen on something like [Sky comedy show] A League Of Their Own with a group of men. It’s just not mentioned.

“And coming from a girl band, it’s exactly the same thing. Everyone always wants women to fight and it’s a real shame that it undoes all the good that Loose Women does.

"While we laugh and talk about silly subjects, we also talk about really important subjects.”
