Jeremy Renner introduces 'little protector' dog to fans as he continues recovery
Jeremy Renner shared an adorable image of his dog Hershey, calling the pooch his "protector".
It comes as the actor, 52, continues his recovery from the horror incident on New Year's Day which left him in intensive care and needing intense rehabilitation sessions.
In the snap uploaded on his Instagram account, the husky can be seen perched on the bed looking out of the huge windows at the scenic view.
He captioned the picture: "My little protector. Sweet love Hershey."
Jeremy, who is currently starring in Mayor of Kingstown" was left fighting for his life in the snow at the turn of the year after a terrifying accident involving his snow plough.

He later revealed he had broken over 30 bones in the incident and has now began the long journey to recovery, sharing updates with his fans along the way.
It's thought his rehab could take years as he bids to get strength back in his legs. He said he is determined to do "whatever it takes" to get back to full fitness and uploaded a clip of him on a specially adapted exercise bike showing him trying to strengthen his legs.
In the short video, he could be seen focusing on his left leg as he pedalled away while using his hand to help him with the movement.
Last month his situation was described as a "miracle" as he wheeled himself around.
Actress pal Evangeline Lilly, 43, praised her "legendary" pal for being "incredibly brave and strong" after the near-fatal ordeal which saw him dragged underneath his Pistunbully snowcat.
Speaking to Access about visiting Jeremy, she said: "I expected to sit at his bedside and hold his hand while he moaned and groaned in pain and wasn't able to move.
"He was wheeling himself around, laughing with his friends. It's a miracle, a straight-up miracle. He's made of something really tough, that guy.
"You've always been able to see that in him. He is recovering incredibly, and I'm so grateful."
It's not just his physical fitness he's focusing on either, as he showed fans how he is dealing with improving his mental wellbeing.
Curled up by the fire, the Hawkeye star looked engrossed in The Book of Awakening, which is labelled a "spiritual daybook" written by philosopher Mark Nepo.
