Olivia explains 'hypocritic' antics and why villa ignored her Movie Night clip
Love Island star Olivia Hawkins gave her first interview since she was axed from the villa alongside current partner Maxwell Samuda.
The ITV2 reality show returned for a Sunday evening spectacular, which saw the South African villa explode in fresh drama ahead of the spin-off show Aftersun.
Olivia and Maxwell appeared on the Aftersun sofa just days after touching back down in the UK and chatted over their Love Island stint with host Maya Jama.
Olivia addressed a couple of her controversies after weeks of couple swapping and villa gossip – and she even admitted she had been a ‘hypocrite’ at the Casa Amor recoupling.
When it came to Kai Fagan, who was in a couple with Olivia, he decided to recouple with the Casa Amor arrival Sanam Harrinanan.

“Missing me already? Clearly not enough, his loss, my gain.”
Sitting on the Aftersun sofa, Olivia was upfront as she said: “Let me just say, I’ve watched that clip back and I put my hands up: I’m such a hypocrite.”
She explained: “In the moment it’s so intense. Emotions are high. There were real feelings there.
“So when I walked through those doors I was so nervous to come back with Maxwell. I’m just happy that me and Kai have sorted it all out.”
Olivia then addressed her starring role during the infamous show staple Movie Night, when she was shown talking about the other Islanders behind their backs in a clip titled Liv Actually.
At the time, Love Island viewers were baffled as to why her gossipy comments were never addressed in the dramatic fallout from the evening.
Olivia spilled on Aftersun that she had in fact told her co-stars about the scenes, as she insisted: “I feel like I stayed true to myself all the way through.”
She added: “On Movie Night, none of the girls reacted because I told them previously that day that I thought they forgave the boys way too quickly. I wouldn't do anything differently.”
Olivia and Maxwell had received the news that they were heading home on Tuesday's episode, but in a plot twist never before seen, the couple were then told that they would be choosing who follows them out the door.
