Pregnant singer Jessie J has delighted her fans by sharing a glimpse into her exciting baby shower, which featured her rarely-seen mum and her nearest and dearest friends.

The singer-songwriter, 34, announced that she is pregnant last month, and since then, the expectant mum has been sharing candid updates amid her pregnancy journey - documenting both the ups and downs.

Over the weekend, the Domino hit-maker shared a glimpse into her wild baby shower as she beamed in a series of snaps and videos alongside her pals.

Jessie shared an insight into what exactly she and her loved ones got up to during the special day.

Sharing a video of her rarely-seen mum standing beside her, in front of a table full of tea light candles, Jessie said: "I can't wait to share videos from my baby shower. I will edit them all together when I have time and this will make my main page for sure.

"But you deserve his laugh right now," she added. "I haven't laughed that hard in the longest."

One image shows Jessie wearing a floor-length white dress with a v-neckline with a long white coat on top and an orange handbag for a pop of colour.

Another snap shows Jessie standing in front of a white, orange and rose gold balloon arch and a table filled with food and gifts.

In the hilarious baby shower snippet, Jessie's mum, Rose Cornish, can be heard trying to blow out the candles by shouting "p**** hole".

It also sees expectant mum Jessie crying with laughter as she said: "The more I heard back my mum shouting 'p**** hole' in my head the funnier it got."

Jessie - who had tragically experienced a miscarriage in 2021 - shared her joyful pregnancy news on social media last month.

At the time, she wrote: "I am so happy and terrified to finally share this. Please be gentle with me.

"Honestly, ya girl just wants to ugly cry in public in a catsuit eating a chocolate covered pickle with no questions asked."

She has shared updates about the first trimester with her followers on social media in recent weeks, including posting content that has showcased her growing baby bump.

The star recently uploaded footage from a festival just a few months ago, saying that she felt like she was "outside" of her body and that her pregnancy was a secret at the time.

She had been among the line-up at the Rock in Rio 2022 concert four months ago, with her now revealing that she had been secretly pregnant whilst at the festival in Brazil.

Jessie shared footage of herself at the side of the stage ahead of her set - which featured as part of the festival, held in September last year.

She wrote: "I am pregnant here. My adrenaline excitement and anxiety were 1000. You can see my repeating to myself 'you are ok you are ok'. I felt like I was outside of my body the whole time I was in Brazil but especially in this moment.

"No one knew and I came off stage feeling like I had performed the show 100 times faster than I should of. Like I sang like Theodor from the chipmunks sped up. I came off and just sobbed."
