Oleksandr Usyk thinks Tyson Fury plays up for the cameras and secretly cries whilst watching "sentimental" movies.

Usyk and Fury are expected to meet at the end of April in a fight that would crown the first undisputed heavyweight world champion of the four-belt era. The monumental clash is expected to take place in the Middle East, but if that deal is unable to be made, they will host the fight at Wembley Stadium instead.

'The Gypsy King' has done his best to get under Usyk's skin ahead of their pencilled-in fight, but the Ukrainian seemingly isn't bothered by his rival's trash-talk. Usyk believes his refusal to engage in Fury's mind games has frustrated the Brit, whom he claims is a different person when no cameras are around.

“I think I was able to get into his head a little bit. I have been watching Tyson Fury get into the heads of his opponents for many years and then I got into his head. When there are no cameras, he is completely different. He plays the bad guy for the cameras. I think he likes movies about love and when he watches them he cries a little. That’s not a bad thing. When I watch some sentimental movies, I can shed a tear too," Usyk told The Guardian.

Usyk got in the ring to face off with Fury after 'The Gypsy King' defended his WBC title by stopping Derek Chisora in December. Fury went on an expletive-fuelled rant as he said: "Usyk, you’re next you little b****. You are next. Me and you next. You’re next. Rabbit! P****! 15-stone little midget bodybuilder. Well, I ain’t a bodybuilder, I’m going to write you off. You ugly little man. Let's get it on, b****."

The Ukrainian laughed off Fury's goading attempts, which prompted him to continue his rant. "You may laugh now but I’ll end this lil' sucker. I’ll end you. You little sucker. What are you gonna do? You’re gonna do f*** all, you little sausage," Fury added.

Whilst criticising his rival for his contradictory views on prizefighting, Usyk offered to fight him for free by stating: "Fury, you talk about greatness in Boxing. At the same time, you say, 'give me a lot of money'. Greatness in boxing is not determined by money, greatness comes from a victorious path. You say that I avoid you, although I never have. And, in fact, I've come to you. I'm ready to box with you even without any prize money!"
