A self-proclaimed "time traveller from the year 2858" has shockingly claimed that "human bones will be found on Mars" this year.
The mysterious person who claims to be from hundreds of years in the future shared their creepy predictions for the upcoming year on social media.
Their claim that bones will be found some time in 2023 could will spark speculation that human life originated on the red planet.
The user, known as @darknesstimetravel on TikTok, has posted a list of their predictions for this year, including that aliens will take over the world in February and that humans will receive superpowers in July.
Already having gained more than 6,000 followers for posting outlandish claims about future events, the latest predictions have come as a shock to many of their followers.

Their latest video has attracted the attention of several social media users after they posted about the possibility of human remains being found on the red planet.

"February 28: Everyone has the same dream of a hostile alien species taking over Earth.
"March 30: A plane goes missing through a wormhole, 6 seconds to passengers, 6 years to everyone else.
"May 4: Human bones are discovered on Mars, leading everyone to believe we are originally from Mars. July 2: 6 humans receive superpowers from extreme energy of the Sun.
"August 19: Scientists working on a top secret government project open a portal to parallel universe."

They took to the comments to debate over the possibility, with one person writing: "We won't actually get to know, it will be covered up."
One user wrote: "What exact type of bones are discovered??"
While another person commented: "Hope I get the greatest superpowers and be one of the people who got superpowers."

The news comes after an alleged time traveller has claimed that humans will go to war with an "intelligent species" after discovering a new world underground.
The user, known as @timevoyaging, has doubled-down on their previous claims that a cave will be discovered today (Thursday, January 19) - leading to a new world hidden under the Earth's crust.
It will apparently be known as Azawa and will be home to new species and elements that have never been seen before.
