Amy Hart has told fans her baby bump is smaller than it was three weeks ago.

The Love Island star, 29, is expecting her first child with her partner Sam Rason in March.

Taking to Instagram, the mum-to-be updated fans on her pregnancy as she explained why her bump had decreased in size.

"I had my midwife appointment today and everything's looking good," she said before sharing: "My bump is actually smaller than it was three weeks ago.

"There's a graph and there's a solid line and faint lines. Last time I was in the faint line because I was measuring a tiny bit bigger than average.

"But now I'm back in solid line - smaller than I was 3 weeks ago. Maybe the baby was having a front and centre day or maybe I'd just eaten loads. Anyway, all measuring the correct size and we've got six weeks to go!"

Amy recently hit back at mum-shamers, who questioned her about what she had bought for her baby.

Since announcing her pregnancy, the TV star has been vocal about the kind of mothering techniques she hopes to adopt, but she's been plagued by people slamming her choices.

The mum-to-be revealed she'd been bombarded with messages from mums who have been asking why she feels the need to purchase formula, while others have claimed she has bought the wrong size nappies.

According to NHS advice, if a mother and her baby have some difficulties breastfeeding, or if there are concerns about a baby's weight, the mum might be advised to give some formula feeds in addition.

Amy reiterated this as she explained it is usually possible to offer a baby bottles of expressed milk or formula alongside breastfeeding.

Taking to Instagram addressing the backlash, she said: "On the breastfeeding and the milk stuff, obviously I would love to breastfeed but if I can't breastfeed I will express. If I can't express, I will use formula.

"Already, people are messaging me asking me why I think I won't be able to breastfeed and they're saying it's easy.

"They're telling me that I just need to try but there are other reasons that people can't breastfeed guys. And if I got ill, and it was left up to Sam to feed the baby, he definitely can't breastfeed so that's why I have the formula."
