Spit it out, William, and just tell us what you find more distasteful – your bedtime reading or your vegan fishless fingers sandwich?

And what are Rishi Sunak ’s kids up to?

The PM thinks the answer to all our problems is to make children take maths until they are 18, but is he being told his plans don’t add up as the family eat vegan snacks.

Meanwhile, Charles and Camilla dine on the crown jewels of vegan cuisine, the meat-free burger.

The witty portraits, by Alison Jackson, are in Bird’s Eye’s Green Cuisine Veganuary promotion.

The tongue-in-cheek snaps have had Brits doing a double take wondering if the Royals have really started promoting burgers and fish finger butties.

The scene showing the Wales' apparent bedtime snack, in particular, appeared to initially answer the question on everybody's lips – have they read Spare?

The lookalikes pose with a pensive expression as they dig into their sandwiches while Harry dishes out some rather big secrets.

Kate and Wills' picture was dubbed 'Green Cuisine serves an uno-fish-al portrait of the Windsors'.

A shot showing the King and Queen's doppelgangers chowing down by the fire in a plush palace living room meanwhile has been named, 'Meat-Free Green Cuisine Burger fit for a King'. Although there don't appear to be any copies of Harry's memoir in sight.

Not-so-Fishy Rishi's snap dishes up a sight previously unseen – the Sunak family gathered around the kitchen table powering through maths homework with some hearty grub.

The picture of the PM's lookalike has also been given its own title, 'Number Hen: A Green Cuisine Chicken-Less Dippers Su-snack'.

Alison's snaps come as thousands sign up to Veganuary.

Like Dry January, thousands of Brits vow to cut out - or at least cut down on - meat and dairy, either as part of a new year health kick or just a new challenge.
