Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon are reportedly refusing to sign contracts for the latest series of Britain's Got Talent over a wage dispute - and we want to know what you think.

The long-standing judges are said to be furious with ITV bosses as new judge Bruno Tonioli is expected to receive the same £850,000 salary as them.

The former Strictly Come Dancing star, who is replacing David Walliams, will soon join the panel as filming is set to start on Tuesday.

But the show could be plunged into disarray with Alesha, 44, and Amanda, 51, allegedly refusing to sign a new deal.

A source told The Sun that the women “will not budge” as they don’t think it’s fair that Bruno should get the same deal as them in his first year on BGT.

The newest series will be Amanda's 17th on the show, while it will mark Alesha's 11th season in the judges' hot seat.

Discussing the topic, one Mirror reader wrote: “On one hand, Bruno is going to do the exact same job. Therefore, it would be fair for him to get equal pay.

“On the other hand, Amanda and Alesha have been doing this show for years. They are the faces people expect to see when they watch the show and part of the reason it has been so successful. It's not absurd to think they added value to the show should be reflected on their salaries.”
