Man dies after falling from Glasgow tower block as police seal off scene
A man has died after falling from a tower block, with police having launched a probe into the horrifying incident.
Emergency services were called to the high-rise at Dougrie Place in Glasgow’s Castlemilk area at around 5:25 a.m. this morning. The man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene, with officers carrying out inquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding his passing. The man’s relatives have been informed.
Police say they are treating the death as unexplained, with an investigation into the incident now underway.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 5:25 a.m. on Tuesday, 31 March, 2026, police received a report a man had fallen from a flat in Dougrie Place, Glasgow. Emergency services attended and the man was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin has been informed.
