Surgeon 'gave kids fake Covid jabs and sold fake vaccination cards for $97,000'
A plastic surgeon allegedly gave children 'fake Covid jabs' and sold forged vaccination cards for $97,000.
Dr. Michael Kirk Moore Jr, from Utah, US, is alleged to have taken bribes from anti-vax parents to give their children fake Covid-19 vaccinations.
He allegedly injected kids with saline shots instead of Covid 19 jabs and would give them a fake vaccination card, which claimed the children were jabbed against Covid, according to Utah’s US State Attorney’s Office.
In addition, Dr Moore allegedly destroyed tens of thousands of dollars worth of Covid jabs, which he poured down the drain.
Prosecutors said: "Defendants also administered saline shots to minors — at the request of their parents — so children would think they were receiving a COVID-19 vaccine."

The doctor, along with two of his staff and a neighbour, allegedly carried out the scheme.

"Not only did this provider endanger the health and well-being of a vulnerable population, but also undermined public trust and the integrity of federal health care programs."
The four accused allegedly used Dr Moore's plastic Surgery Institute of Utah Inc. office to run the fake Covid scheme.
He was authorised by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to give out vaccinations.
Dr Moore, a board-certified surgeon, and his neighbour, Kristin Jackson, are members of a organisation which seeks to "liberate" the medical" profession from government and industry conflicts of interest.”
The doctor allegedly inject some kids with saline shots (Getty Images)The pair, along with officer manager Kari Dee Burgoyne and receptionist Sandra Flores, managed to pour $28,000 (£22,000) worth of Covid-19 vaccinations down the drain, according to prosecutors.
They allegedly produced fake Covid vaccination cards which they sold for $50 (£40) per person.
With the money from the $50 vaccination cards making nearly $97,000, the scheme was valued at nearly $125,000 (£100,000), federal prosecutors said.
All four, including the medical office, have been charged with conspiracy to defraud the US; conspiracy to convert, sell, convey, and dispose of government property; and conversion, sale, conveyance, and disposal of government property and aiding and abetting.

They will return to court on January 26.
