Medical plane crashes in US, killing four people
Four people killed in medical transport plane crash on Navajo Nation land in Arizona
A small plane was en route to pick up a patient from a nearby hospital when the crash occurred, according to Navajo police.
Police reported that the crash happened around 12:40 p.m. near the town of Chinle, Arizona.
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) stated that the aircraft involved was a Beechcraft 300.
“NTSB investigators are already en route to the crash site and are expected to begin arriving this evening. Once on scene, investigators will begin documenting the site and examining the aircraft. The plane will then be moved to a secure facility for further evaluation,” said NTSB spokesperson Sarah Taylor Sulick.
