Peace be with you all: New Pope Leo XIV makes his first statement.

“Brothers and sisters, these are the first words of the Risen Christ, who has given life. I address all nations, all peoples: let there be peace among you. The Risen Christ has brought peace for all—it comes from God, who loves us all with unconditional love.

We hear the courageous voice of Pope Francis, who blessed Rome and the entire world,” – said Leo XIV.
