Urgent warning issued to TSB customers as users report payment problems
TSB, one of Britain’s biggest banks, issued an ‘urgent’ warning to customers this morning as people reported issues with receiving payments.
Hundreds of users have been experiencing issues with the bank since midnight, according to Down Detector, a website that tracks reports of internet disruptions.
Users on X described not receiving money into their accounts and issues with BACS, an electronic transfer service. ‘I’m expecting a payment but have not yet received anything. I’m getting worried,’ wrote one.
TSB says it is ‘urgently’ working on the issue, with a message on the bank’s app saying that some BACS payments are ‘not yet showing on customer’s accounts’.
It comes as cosy season – think blankets, hot chocolate and blissful nights in – is fast approaching. But that also means it’ll soon be time to pop the heating on.
The government’s Warm Discount Scheme is a week away from opening. Only certain people are eligible for the £150 discount, however, and the conditions depend greatly on where you live in the UK.
