Baby found dead after police rushed to home over ’concerns for welfare’
Metropolitan Police officers were called to Taviton Street, Camden, on Monday after a "concern for welfare" was made, where officers discovered a baby had died
A baby has been found dead in a London street, sparking an urgent police investigation.
Met Police Officers were called at around 4pm on Monday to reports of a "concern for welfare" in Taviton Street, Camden. When they arrived a baby was found dead.
The cause of the tragedy is not yet known. A spokesman for the Met Police told The Sun: "Police were called to Taviton Street, WC1, to reports of a concern for welfare.
"Officers and London Ambulance Service attended the scene. A baby was sadly found dead. Enquiries continue into the circumstances."
