More than two weeks after his unveiling as an Al-Nassr player, Cristiano Ronaldo is finally preparing to make his first appearance since moving to Saudi Arabia.

The Portugal international arrived at his new club with a ban hanging over his head, following his behaviour after Manchester United's Premier League match against Everton in April 2022. That means he has been unable to turn out for Rudi Garcia's side, but he is free to represent an all-star XI in a match against Lionel Messi's Paris Saint-Germain.

Ronaldo will captain the team, which is made up of stars from Riyadh's rival clubs Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal. Here, Mirror Football has all the information you need to know about what could end up being the last ever Ronaldo v Messi clash.

When is All Star XI v PSG?

The match between the All Star XI and Paris Saint-Germain will take place on January 19, with kick-off at 5pm UK time. The King Fahd Stadium in Riyadh will play host to the match.

The All Star team will be made up of players from Riyadh's two big clubs, Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal. The two teams occupy the top two spots in the Saudi Pro League, with Al-Nassr holding a one-point lead with a game in hand on their rivals.

In addition to Ronaldo, Al-Nassr have a number of other international stars who could feature at King Fahd Stadium. Brazilian midfielder Luiz Gustavo is a former Champions League winner with Bayern Munich, while Argentine forward Pity Martinez and Colombian goalkeeper David Ospina both have caps for their respective countries.

Al-Hilal have several former Premier League stars of their own as their stars prepare to take to the field alongside their rival club's big names. Peru international Andre Carrillo is on their books, as are former Man Utd man Odion Ighalo, ex-Fulham frontman Luciano Vietto and one-time West Brom star Matheus Pereira.

The PSG stars need less of an introduction, of course. In addition to World Cup winner Messi, the French champions can boast finalist Kylian Mbappe and semi-finalist Achraf Hakimi, though it remains to be seen how many of their biggest names will be involved in Riyadh.
