Moss Side stabbing: Boy fighting for life with knifeman-one-the run as cops shut down street
A teenager has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a reported stabbing in a park in Moss Side, Greater Manchester, earlier this afternoon
A teenage boy has been rushed to hospital with serious and life-threatening injuries after a stabbing this afternoon, as police search for the person responsible.
Officers were called to an incident on Raby Street at around 4.15pm today. The victim is said to have suffered "serious and life-threatening" injuries in the incident.
No arrests have yet been made as enquiries by Greater Manchester Police get underway. An air ambulance landed at the nearby Millennium Park and a forensic tent has been set up in the area.

Superintendent Muzemil Kernain of GMP’s City of Manchester district, said: “We understand the local community will be quite rightly shocked when hearing this news and we will continue to provide a visible reassurance in the area over the coming days in the form of on-foot patrol officers, vehicle patrols and covert patrols.

“We are appealing for any information the public may have to come forward and speak to us, it will be treated with the strictest confidence, and I am particularly keen if there is any mobile phone or dashcam footage of the incident or its immediate aftermath.”
