Champions League quarter-final draw details as Arsenal and Man City await fate
The draw for the Champions League quarter-finals and semi-finals will take place on Friday.
Defending champions Manchester City and Arsenal are the two remaining English hopes in the competition, which is packed full of heavyweight names heading into the last eight. Every team - other than the Gunners - has either won it or made a final in the past 11 years with Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund completing the teams win their wins on Wednesday night.
Whereas the last 16 draw was dictated by who won the groups, going forward there is no protection. Clubs from the same country can also face each other meaning an Arsenal - City blockbuster is very much a possibility with the two teams also going at it in the Premier League.
Several English players operating abroad are also hoping to spearhead successes for foreign sides. Jude Bellingham has become the leading light at Real Madrid following his move from Dortmund in the summer. Los Blancos, Europe's most successful outfit, last won the tournament in 2022.
Harry Kane made his move to Bayern Munich in the summer, ending his Tottenham association. On a personal level he's performed well but the German side face the prospect of a rare trophyless season as they seek a new manager for next season.

Champions League success is their most realistic chance of silverware this term with Kane aiming to go one better after finishing as a runner-up with Tottenham in 2019.
Barcelona are seeking a sixth European crown, their last coming in 2015. It would be the first of the post-Lionel Messi era and the perfect way for Xavi to bow out. PSG meanwhile are led by Luis Enrique, himself a Champions League winner, with Kylian Mbappe eyeing Champions League success in his final Paris season.

When is the draw?
The Champions League quarter-final draw will take place at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland at 11am on Friday. It will then be followed by the draw for the two semi-final ties, meaning every team will know their route to the final at Wembley.
Then, for administrative reasons, a third draw will take place in order to decide which club would be the assigned as the 'home' team in this year's final. That dictates things such as who gets which dressing room come the final on June 1.

TNT Sports subscribers will be able to watch the draw on their channels and streaming services, while it will also be streamed live on UEFA's official website, .

When will the ties be played?
After the last 16 matches were spread out over two weeks, the final eight will all compete over the same two nights. First legs will be on April 9 and 10, with the return matches a week later.
Semi-final first legs will then take place on April 30 and May 1, before the finalists will be determined on May 7 & 8.
