Billie Shepherd 'terrified' as daughter rushed to hospital after 'scary' moment

Billie Shepherd, the former TOWIE star, has revealed a scary incident where her baby daughter Margot had a seizure.

Billie shared a picture of herself with her kids and wrote: "One exhausted mumma." She explained that Margot had been unwell with a virus and on Sunday she had a febrile seizure.

She said: "My little darling Margot has had a nasty virus, on Sunday Margot had a febrile seizure, it was the most terrifying moment of my life. It was caused due to a spike in her temperature, I was so scared and didn't know what to do, we of course called an ambulance and Margot was examined at the hospital."

She added that after talking to many doctors, they all told her the same thing - these seizures are quite common but not often talked about. So, she decided to share her story to help others know what to do in such a situation.

She also shared a link to the NHS page on febrile seizures and said: "Margot is slowly getting better [red heart emoji]." The NHS says that a febrile seizure can happen when a child has a high temperature, and while you should get medical help, it's usually not a serious condition, reports OK!.

Many of Billie's fans commented on her post, with one saying: "So sorry this has happened to little Margot! Thank you for sharing awareness! Wishing her a speedy recovery." Another person said: "Oh poor little thing! My son had one last Christmas and it was absolutely terrifying" Someone else wrote: "Oh Billie, glad she's ok now.... What a worry for you all. Lots of love to you and your beautiful family."

It comes after Billie put up a lovely video of Margot's first year and said: "You completed our family." The video showed cute moments like Margot's birth, playing with her big brother and sister, her first Christmas, going on a photo shoot with her mum, and having fun at the beach.

Billie wrote under the video: "Happy 1st Birthday to our beautiful darling Margot. You truly are the sunshine of our lives we are so blessed to have you our beautiful, funny, loving little baby, you have completed our family. we adore you! Our little sugar dumpling, our precious little Pearl we can't wait to celebrate your special day today we love you soooooo much."
