Meghan Markle is pondering Will and Harry's relationship

Meghan Markle is said to be feeling "massively conflicted" about what Prince Harry should do next in regards to his relationship with his brother, a royal expert has claimed.

Harry's brotherly bond has been well and truly broken in recent years as the Duke of Sussex continued to share their private stories and disagreements with the world. As well as making claims in his bombshell chat with Oprah Winfrey three years ago, Harry took aim at his older sibling in his memoir, Spare, and his Netflix documentary alongside his wife.

However, Meghan is thought to be pondering how best to help her husband - and their reputation - after realising the importance of their connection.

Royal expert and author Tom Quinn exclusively told the Mirror: "Meghan is massively conflicted about what Harry should do – she sees that he’s bored at the moment and recognises that he’s more of an asset to brand Sussex if he makes it up with William and Charles, but she’s still very resistant. But then it’s easier for her as she is on her home turf.

"Harry will definitely be trying to make things up with his brother before he returns to the UK in May – he knows how bad it will look if he doesn’t see his brother, especially when Kate has been so ill."‌

Tom added that Harry has realised during his spell in the States that any family feuds "did at least make life interesting."‌. He continued: "There’s an old Irish saying - strife is better than loneliness - and without his family and his family battles Harry is lonely in the USA. He’s been described as a, ‘little boy lost’.

"He’s bored and has very little to do and he’s lost the only life he was trained for. Anything he can do to improve relations with his family can only be a good thing for him. And he has definitely had time to realise that writing Spare and giving interviews about how awful his life was with the royal family has not brought the apologies and the happiness he’d hoped for."

Harry and William will both be honouring their late mum, Princess Diana tonight (March 14) at theDiana Legacy Awards at the Science Museum. The awards were first introduced in 2017 to celebrate the life of the princess on the 20th anniversary of her death. The heir will attend the venue in person and will give a speech. Winners of the awards, handed out to people aged between nine and 25 who improve others’ lives, will also get to meet Harry, but his attendance will be virtual from his Montecito home.
