Lewis Capaldi was seen out with his girlfriend Ellie MacDowall fofr the first time in 10 months as the couple proved they're still going strong.

The singer, 27, hasn't been spotted out in public with Ellie since May 2023 as they holidayed in Los Angeles. They have since taken a romantic stroll through north London together after confirming their romance last year. Lewis is currently taking a career break to focus on his health and has been supported by Ellie.

The Someone You Loved hitmaker kept casual for their walk as he donned a black hoodie, trousers and white T-shirt paired with white trainers. Ellie kept warm in a brown checked coat, green knit scarf and pink cap. They first went public with each other at the BRIT Awards in 2023.

Lewis has rarely gave insights into his love life, but gushed: "I have a girlfriend and that’s going really well, I am happy chappy, she’s a lovely lady I feel good about everything.” Onlookers couldn't get over how close the couple looked at the BRITs, with one saying the singer "couldn't keep his hands off" his new girlfriend.

The model has also shared a string of videos and pictures of the Scottish singer on her Instagram as far back as December 2022. Last summer, Lewis told fans he needed to take a break from touring 'for the foreseeable future', as he pulled out of his upcoming gigs including a headline set at Reading and Leeds Festival.

The sad news came days after the singer broke down and struggled to finish his set at Glastonbury. In heartbreaking scenes, Lewis lost his voice and became tearful as the crowd at Worthy Farm sang the words of his biggest hits back at him in a show of support. The 27-year-old has been open about his struggle with Tourette’s syndrome after going public with his diagnosis in September 2022.

Just months later, Lewis revealed his condition had worsened and he was struggling to control his tics while performing, acknowledging there could come a day when he'd have to quit music because of it. "The fact that this probably won't come as a surprise doesn't make it any easier to write, but I'm very sorry to let you know I'm going to be taking a break from touring for the foreseeable future," he said at the time.

Lewis recently returned to social media to announce that he was releasing an extended edition of his second album Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent. After taking time away from the platforms, he said: "After some back-and-forth about whether it was the right thing to do, I've decided it would be a shame for these extra five songs, which are so incredibly special to me, to sit on my hard drive, never to see the light of day.

"I was absolutely terrified of disappointing you all, afraid of not living up to expectations and, in all honesty, scared that the whole thing would be a complete flop. But thanks to all of you, it wasn't. It's mind-blowing to see the songs on this album still resonating with so many of you despite the fact I've not been out there promoting it or touring, it means the world to me. Which brings me to the reason for this big b*****d of a letter I'm writing . . . 'Prior to my decision to f*** off for a bit, I'd always hoped to release an extended version at some point!"
