Jason Kelce has hilarious reaction to Philadelphia Eagles signing Saquon Barkley
Jason Kelce made a funny comment about the Philadelphia Eagles' general manager Howie Roseman after they signed Saquon Barkley. Jason Kelce, 36, has stopped playing football after being with the team for 13 years.
He announced his retirement after the 2023 season when his team lost early in the playoffs. He then he watched his brother Travis Kelce win the Super Bowl again with his team.
In a bid to improve in 2024, the Eagles have signed star running back Saquon Barkley from the New York Giants. They agreed to give him a big three-year contract.
Kelce, who was vitally important to the team's running game as their starting center , joked that he wished Barkley had joined the team earlier so they could have played together.
On his show 'New Heights', Jason said, "Yeah, I'm pretty positive. Even though ['I'm] a little bit upset [Eagles GM] Howie [Roseman] waited until I retired to make a move like this!

"But you know, it's fine. It'll work out great. Listen, when you add a weapon like this it's only going to expand the way you can attack a defense... We have a great offensive line. We can put running backs in good situations and put them in these one-on-one spots.
"I think Saquon is gonna do a pretty good job at that this year. He's gonna make that last guy either miss or make a tackle that's gonna extend it another few yards and that's what you want out of these running backs.

In terms of his next step after time on the field, the former centre could be eyeing regular TV appearances. His larger-than-life character comes to life on his podcast, and he also showed up in Amazon's coverage of an NFL match last season during Philadelphia's bye week.
"It is exciting to think about possibilities - it is exciting to be able to lose weight, feel good, and not physically fight for my life every day," Jason Kelce voiced on an episode of the Green Light with Chris Long podcast. "I think it is also daunting. It is anxiety and at the end of the day, it is the unknown."
Kelce might earn a fortune following reported meetings with broadcasters while in Las Vegas for the Pro Bowl and the Super Bowl to cheer on his brother.
