Scrambled eggs are one of the most popular breakfast picks of all time - and there's one secret ingredient to level up your dish.

Although they seem simple to make, it's tough to get the perfect consistency on your scramble. Now one chef has shared their secret weapon to making the fluffiest eggs every time - and it costs just 89p.

Light and fluffy eggs have never been easier and you will certainly impress your friends and family with this step-by-step recipe shared by a chef from innovative London restaurant Fallow.

In a short TikTok video, the chef explained: "This is how you make scrambled eggs, like a chef. Three eggs minimum, or if like me, you're greedy, we're gonna go for five."

After cracking the eggs into a bowl, he then salted and peppered the mix and added a knob of butter into a hot pan. He continued: "We're gonna make a lovely roasted brown butter, it's gonna have a nice nuttiness." Once the pan was hot, he then poured in the eggs and added: "Once the butter is nice and brown, off the heat, and add your eggs."

To perfect the recipe, he then placed the pan on and off the heat, and just before the eggs were fully cooked he then took the pan off the heat again and added the secret ingredient - creme fraiche. You can buy creme fraiche from Sainsbury's for just 89p.

He then cooked until he was happy with the consistency and served up the eggs on some toast and seasoned with some black pepper and sriracha sauce. The chef then smiled and said: "That's how you make scrambled eggs like a chef."

People were impressed with his recipe, as one TikToker chimed: "Yes this is the best way sooo good," while another added: "Just made this and it was unreal!"

Despite many claiming the eggs were undercooked, one fan commented: "For everyone saying they're undercooked try them like this! It's so creamy and dreamy not rubbery like normal."

Even renowned chef Tom Kerridge got in on the action and praised the chef. He wrote: "Properly done" followed by a thumbs-up emoji.
